God"s Spirit Is in You
(1Cor.3:1-17)
Introduction: God has resolved disasters and curses by raising a minority of people age by age, and they are the Remnants (Moses, Samuel, Isaiah, etc.) Remnants are our future and God"s method to break down the forces of darkness. If we keep our Remnants in our mind like Jacob who kept the word of his son, Joseph, we will save our nation.
Satan attacks us in order to block us from seeing the fact that we are the children of God, the value of the identity, the authorities and the work of blessings followed by it. Due to the attack of Satan, many believers are living a religious life without true answers, and they fall down in a critical moment. Paul said to Corinthian church who missed this blessing, "Do you know who you are? Do you know what blessings you have received?" We are going to find answers to problems coming from human relationship by looking at the blessings of Immanuel that we have received and the blessing of meeting that come to us when we enjoy them.
1. Blessing of Immanuel
(1) God wants to be with us.
1) Original man - God created man as an Immanuel being in forming a life and covenantal relationship with God. (Gen.1:27-28)
2) The definition of human being in the Bible - Immanuel and the conquer of the world.
(2) The blessing of Immanuel has been restored by Christ
1) Problems started to come to mankind when he missed the blessing of Immanuel (Gen.3 incident→the six states of non-believers)
2) God sent the woman"s offspring to the earth in order to restore the work of life. (Jn.1:4-9)
3) God is with those who have received salvation by the Holy Spirit (Jn.14:16-17, Mt.28:18-20)
(3) The world will be absolutely conquered if we enjoy the blessing of Immanuel (the mystery of life)
2. We must enjoy the blessing of meeting in every interpersonal relationship.
(1) The solution to problems of human relationship - Immanuel
1) Every interpersonal relationship changes into blessings when you enjoy the mystery of Immanuel (Joseph-Potiphar, Moses-Pharaoh)
2) Churches in Korea and their members are missing important answers because of the problems of interpersonal relationship.
3) Even the relationship with your enemy changes into footstep of blessings when enjoying the mystery of Immanuel
(2) The mystery to enjoy the Gospel in human relationship. (the same one that the 7 Remnants had enjoyed)
1) You should find God"s plan behind every human relationship.
① You will have broader view of the world through the person who is not your type.
② You will hear the voice of God through the people who are against you.
2) You should find your mission such as why God has placed you where you are and what God is willing to do through you.
(3) May you receive answers of human relationship from where you are now.
Conclusion: Today, many believers and churches seek after physical things and have conflicts in interpersonal relationships. They do not know that each of them is the temple of God and do not have true satisfaction in their fields. The Holy Spirit is working in us which is the perfect blessing to us. Do not lose hold of the blessing of salvation. Answers will come if you just think how you will enjoy the Gospel. Please think about this and challenge.
