The Kingdom of God Is
(1Cor.4:14-21)
Introduction: The kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. There will absolutely be the blessing of the kingdom of God being upon your fields if you stand in the field having this fact with you. The kingdom of God is absolutely revealed as power.
Some of the people in Corinthian church were obsessed by arrogance, knowledge, and pride (v.18-19). Paul was a person who definitely and clearly discerned the Gospel from worldly knowledge. He knew that it was impossible by worldly knowledge to change the field and to lead people to be born again. Today, the Gospel disappears in churches, but worldly knowledge fills the place, and many believers think it as normal. In this age, not salvation but livelihood, not the Gospel but laws, and not the Word of God but deeds are considered as more important things. God wants the Gospel to be restored through our church. Then, how can we enjoy the power of God and the answers of God"s kingdom?
1. There are things that you must throw away.
(1) The Remnants in the Bible who threw away their power and background.
1) Joseph - God made him leave the shelter of his parents and problem-free environment and led him to be taken to Egypt as slave.
2) Moses - God made him leave behind his great royal power and background and run away to Midian.
3) Samuel - God placed him in the temple when he was young in order to separate him even from his family background.
(2) What does "throw away" mean?
1) "Put down everything that you have for I will give you greater answers."
2) "Throw away all the things that you used to rely on when you were not saved because of your fate."
3) "Shut down all the channels of Satan, put down all the characteristics of yours that Satan likes."
(3) The power and the kingdom of God will be revealed if you put down yourself.
2. There are things that you must find.
(1) You must find "my Gospel."
1) The Gospel (Christ) is to solve fundamental problems that man can never solve.
2) The eyes to see problems will be different if you realize the mystery of Christ.
3) You will come to know that there is everything in the Gospel if you realize the mystery of Christ.. (Eph.1:3)
(2) You must find "my prayer."
1) There is limit in worldly success, so you must be strengthened by God"s unlimited power through prayer.
2) You must keep praying for your problems until answers are given.
3) Prayers that we must restored (Scheduled prayer, continuous prayer, worship prayer, special prayer)
(3) You must find "my evangelism."
1) You must find out God"s hidden plan in every things that happen around children of God (daily evangelism)
2) You must find "my evangelism" with the purpose of your life and the story of your own life.
Conclusion: God" power is revealed, and the kingdom of God is established wherever the person who found out my Gospel, prayer, and evangelism goes. Please remember that The kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. The Lord of the kingdom of God is God, He came to the earth, and we call Him "Christ." The kingdom of God is established in those who accept Him and in every place and field where they go. (Mt.12:28-30).
