Gods absolute sovereignty
(Eph.1:3-14)
Introduction: Whenever something happens, we easily lose the faith to trust in Gods absolute sovereignty. Without the grace of God, we can acknowledge the sovereignty. Every man of faith in the bible lived their life in Gods absolute sovereignty and they were all successful without exception. We should practically receive answers, with grabbing todays message, prayer and evangelism. Everything is included in the word salvation. Calvin made an outline of the salvation. There are five contents in it.
1.Calvins five doctrines on the salvation (which explains Gods sovereignty)
(1)Complete corruption: Men are unable to know and meet God by any efforts and have no intelligence to know whats good and evil.
(2)Unconditional selection: God has chosen us according to his will regardless of our deed or appearances
(3)Limited redemption: Only those who are chosen can be saved by Jesus Christ
(4)Irresistible grace: No one can block the grace that God gives.
(5)Tow of saints: God eternally dwells with those who are saved and completely takes the responsibility.
2.The ways to concretely enjoy the salvation in your life
-Ten footholds of the faith
(1)The Father(sovereignty): You must believe that God works with his absolute sovereignty.
(2)The Son(acceptance): You must know the fact that Jesus is the Christ and accept him as your savior in order to be saved.
(3)The Holy Spirit(guidance): The holy spirit guides you(saint) perfectly.
(Concrete fact=The prayer)
(4)The word: Unchanging word of God is the power of God.
(5)The church: I am discriminated and holy child of God namely the church.
(6)Missions Field: You must only evangelize wherever you go. (the purpose of God)
(7)Life and Death, Weal and Woe: You must acknowledge that everything is under the control of God, believing in Gods absolute sovereignty.
(8)Death: Every individual face the death ultimately. You don need to worry about the death because it also is under the control of God.
(9)Afterlife: After the death, the eternal afterlife is waiting for you. (the heaven for the believers, the hell for the non-believers)
(10)Disciple: If you devote to disciples(evangelists), you will be awarded.

Conclusion: Gods absolute sovereignty is not to destroy us but to bless us. So it is okay if you are criticized, misunderstood or in a trouble. When something happens, we have difficulty believing in Gods absolute sovereignty and sometimes try to control it by our own strength. We are unable to trust in the sovereignty without the grace of God. All the pains, misunderstandings are under the blessing that God has promised to give us. Everything will turn into blessing. All you need to do is to believe in Gods absolute sovereignty and accept it. Because we are the children of God and God has promised to bless our life.
