I will bring my people out of Egypt through you
(Ex.3:1-12)
Introduction: Have you ever thought that you are too weak to do something? You do not have to worry about it. God calls us his children and he is always with us, which is a perfect secret. What we do is just check this fact everyday in the walk of faith. As we do this, so God helps the unbelievers and gives the answer to ones who wander around. Moses did not know the fundamental fact and had difficult things during his life. But God blessed and gave answers to him. God accomplished the covenant only through Moses 400 years after He had given it to Jacob. This is the answer for people who received no answers from God.
1.Firstly, we must experience God’s ability(v.2-5)
(1)We must experience the fact that God bestows me abilities and manages and leads me
1)Before we begin to work, we must experience this fact(Moses experienced Gods ability and work. v.3-5)
2)The true happiness will come when we experience this fact
3)Our thoughts and judgments will change as we check and experience this fact everyday
4)This is the way for us to enjoy the life by Jesus abundantly
(2)The way to experience Gods ability
1)grabbing a hold of todays words
2)Praying while holding Gods words
3)having a mind and a heart of evangelism
2.Gods plan - getting to realize his commission(v.8, 10)
(1)When we experience Gods ability, the mission will be specified and accomplished
1)Moses already had a heart to save his people
2)As soon as Moses experienced Gods abilities and blessings, the mission was embodied(Gods desire was planted)
3)When the direction of God is aligned with my direction, the true happiness and power will come along
(2)God called us to be his witnesses in order to lead His people in the world
1)The problem of this world is that people are in the curses, disasters, and sufferings by Satans work and being separated from God
2)As we get Gods blessings, we will see the world in Satans hand and get to know the mission from God
3.Gods purpose - Sacrifices(v.18)
(1)Gods method: being with God(Immanuel. Ge.1:27, 3:15, Isa.7:14, Mt.1:23)
1)God said to Moses I will be with you(v.12)
2)God is with us by the Holy Spirit forever(Jn.14:16-27)
(2)The purpose for God to be with us: Sacrifices(v.18)
1)God wants us to offer sacrifices and to hold Christ
2)Christ is the prophet who opened the way for us meet God and the priest who solved sins, and the king who broke the power of Satan
Conclusion: Even though it is shabby tree like bush, God uses and works with it. God calls us for this era. Do you think there are no answers but only problems? That is the greatest answer, which tells us to get his true blessings and set directions to the world evangelization.
